Hand-block printing is a traditional craft from Jaipur where generations of craftsmen have produced the finest and the best in blocks and printing. Each pattern has a set of blocks - the number depending on the colour palette - usually as many blocks as the number of colours used in a pattern. The wooden blocks are hand-carved - their life depending on the intricacy and the degree of detail in a pattern
